My Mentor

Dear teacher, There are so many things I wish I had done differently. I wish I had asked that question or put a little more effort into that paper. I wish I had paid a little more attention to everything you had said. I wish I had told you how much you meant to me more often. I wish... I wish... I wish.. So for all those times, let me now tell you exactly how I feel.  To me you were everything. You were my teacher, friend, mentor and a parent. You taught me, guided me, motivated me and above all inspired me. You made me want to do better. You made me want to be somebody. You made me believe I could be somebody. I cannot thank you enough for all these roles you played because it has made me who I am.  You had so high expectations that sometimes it scared me. You wouldn't accept anything but the best I could offer. But when you started taking the time to review my work and point out my mistakes, I realised I didn't have to do it alone. I knew you would be there to help me ...

Self Love

Everybody talks about the importance of self-love. It is necessary for the overall well-being of our mental health. But nobody ever really talks about how to love yourself. But once we get there, we will never want to go back. So the next time you are in a crisis, or messed something up, or even got your heartbroken, try to think about all the...

SAVE PLANET / SAVE MONEY

Saving our planet often comes with a cost. Natural, organic, reusable products are often expensive in the market. This makes us gravitate towards a cheaper but environmentally harmful product.  We live in a country where people often care about their environment only through Instagram posts. These so-called eco-activists pop up once or twice a year and give out huge lectures on climate change and pollution and our lifestyles. I do not like them.  I don't believe that we need to change our entire lifestyle to save our planet. Small changes here and there often go a long way. But like I said, mostly saving the planet requires money. So I am going to mention a few things I have picked up that can save our planet while saving money. 1. UNPLUG ALL YOUR ELECTRONICS In most households, a lot of energy is wasted by continuously keeping devices plugged into the socket. This results in phantom energy usage. So always unplug devices from sockets when not in use. Your phone/laptop c...
